Morgan Territory Preserve Loop

Prepare to be amazed by this gorgeous hike in the wilderness behind Mt. Diablo. Although it takes time to get here, this remote beauty is well worth it with its rolling hills, ancient oaks, awesome views, and solitude.

This is a relatively easy to medium trail with a distance of 6.1 miles and 669 feet elevation gain. Let’s meet up at 9:00 AM at the Morgan Territory Road Staging Area at 9401 Morgan Territory Rd, Livermore.

Alternatively, you can meet me at 8:00 AM for carpooling from the Walnut Creek Friends Church back parking lot at 1950 First Avenue in Walnut Creek. Please confirm to coordinate timing.

Be sure to bring layered clothing, sturdy boots or shoes, a hat, plenty of water, a snack, and as usual, an attitude for making friends!
