About us
We are the premier Baltimore Hiking group with over 9,000 members.
This group is for all those who are dedicated to hiking, biking, camping, and any other fun outdoor activity in and around Baltimore whether in the natural areas or urban settings. We offer a range of activities at different times and locations, and encourage all members to make suggestions or plan and lead events.

Patapsco State Park Avalon Area: Moderate 4.5 Miles
Patapsco State Park, 5120 South Street, Arbutus, MD, USEnjoy a nice hike in Patapsco State Park with streams and scenic valleys.
Directions from 95 East or West: Take the I 195 exit toward BWI Airport, then take Rt 1 South (1st exit). Take the 1st Right on South St and in two blocks make a left into the park. Go through the entrance ($3 charge) and follow the road to a T. Make a left at the T and go about 2 blocks to the parking lot. Make the first right into the parking lot.
Daniels Restaurant: Exit Park and Make a Right on South Street. Make a Right at Rt 1 South. In about 0.5 to 1 mile make a Right into Daniels Parking Lot.

Liberty Reservoir, Rt 32: GPS Coordinates: 39.43811, -76.93760, Sykesville, MD, USDescription: There are a few rolling hills and scenic views of the reservoir. The group will walk out onto a peninsula with nice views of the reservoir and eat snack/lunch. Total distance for the hike is about 7.5 miles.
Directions: Rt. 695 to Rt. 70 West to MD 32 North. Go about 10 miles on MD 32 North and cross the bridge over the reservoir. Immediately after the bridge, make a right into the parking area. Meet in the Parking Lot.
Optional: Ledo's Pizza after the hike located near the intersection of Liberty Rd (Rt 26) and Rt 32. Pizza, Lunch Specials, Appetizers, Subs, Wings, Salads, Calzones, Stromboli, etc.
