Gettysburg Battlefield Hike - Approx ~7.5+/- Miles, ~550+/- ft elevation

The Gettysburg Hike will take us through General Longstreet's July 2nd Attack. The hike will consist of roads, through the woods, and over battlefields long ago where our brothers fought for their freedom. This is a phenomenal hike. Weather looks good for Saturday Any chance of rain is later in the afternoon.

*Meet at General Longstreet Memorial on W. Confederate Avenue, Amphitheater parking lot. There is NO CHARGE TO ENTER AND PARK HERE.

**Please arrive early at 9:45am and ready to step off at 10:00am**

We will hike up the street to the tower, past the Snyder farm, up to little round top, down to devil's den, into the wheatfield, through the peach orchard, and back up to U.S. Avenue.

*We will stop along the way at various memorials and such but please keep in mind this is a hike so if you need more time for pictures you can always visit again. :)

(The time listed does NOT include time for after hike meal/Rehydration)

***Dress Accordingly for the weather. Dress in layers, bring plenty of water 2+ Liters, Food and snacks. Wear sturdy hike shoes/boots. Rain poncho or jacket just in case.
