Cromwell Valley Park & Arts Festival - Moderate 5 - 6 Miles

The Cromwell Valley Fall Harvest & Arts Festival starts at 10 AM and ends at 4 PM. The hiking time has changed to 9:15 AM and the location has changed to the Sherwood Entrance: 2002 Cromwell Bridge Rd., Parkville, MD.

The Festival features Live Bands starting at 11:15 and Food Trucks. There may be a $6 Fee for the festival. Since we are arriving early and parking at an adjacent location, I'm not certain if the $6 fee applies.

Enjoy a scenic hike in Cromwell Valley culminating in nice views of Loch Raven Reservoir. Bring a snack to eat during a short stop at the reservoir.

Directions:

Take the I-695 beltway to Exit 29.

Turn left at the first light onto Cromwell Bridge Road.

Turn left onto park entry road at 2002 Cromwell Bridge Road (Sherwood Entrance).

Signs say, “Cromwell Valley Park, Sherwood Entrance, Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks.”

MAKE SURE TO TAKE THE 1st ENTRANCE TO THE PARK.

Follow the road across the bridge and park in gravel parking lot on left.

Cromwell Park has a couple trails that you can hike in a number of ways, so there are a few ways to change things up. There are a few small stream crossing.
