First Snow Hike of the Year
Details
There's something magical about hiking in the snow... The stillness, the tiny flakes dancing all around, the white snow blanketing the trees and the path ahead...
The forecast is calling for light flurries and maybe up to an inch snow on Friday. So let's plan our first snow hike!
We'll tentatively start at noon (subject to update). If you work on Friday, you can maybe take a long lunch and join us :) We'll aim to be back at the cars no later than 1:30 pm.
We'll meet at the start of the Soapstone Trail, which is at the parking area on the side of Rolling Road, across from the Southwest Park & Ride in Catonsville. This has easy access from I-195 / I-95 which are always well plowed and salted during the snow.
Hope you can join us!
