Hi All!
We will be hiking a short ~2 mile ish hike through Hemlock Gorge. This is my favorite hike in Maryland and even though it’s shorter than most, the scenery is worth it! Carpool if you can. Hike is limited bc of parking. If you can’t join the hike, feel free to join us at the brewery at noon.
Kid friendly but not dog friendly (brewery is not dog friendly as it’s a working farm, water has high levels of algae)
We will take our time and explore - this will be a slow hike. I recommend bringing an extra pair of shoes or water shoes as there’s opportunity to cross the water to access a little island on the trail. There is a little bit off rock scrambling.
Afterward we will head to Black Locust Farm Brewery. They MAY have “Bring Your Own Pool Party” where people can bring their own baby pools to hang out in. I’ll keep you posted once they confirm whether or not it they will have this. They will also have a food truck.
