Gear Swap & Sell at Checkerspot Brewing

Hi All,

Have old hiking/camping/adventure gear you want to sell but don't want to deal with 100 "Is this still available?" messages in your inbox? Or want to find a good deal on supplies without breaking the bank? Come to our Gear Swap & Sell event at Checkerspot. This will be a traditional buy/sell setup but sellers can also swap amongst each other too. 🐶friendly event.

Sellers - please plan on being at the brewery at 11:30 am to setup.

• Tables will be provided for laying out equipment.
• I'll have nametags, price stickers, and sharpies available.
• Increase chance of purchase by having digital payment options available (Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp, etc.) and some cash for change. I will have some change too but you might need to chase me down for it.
• Wipe down items that may have been stored in your shed/garage that might need it! The spider hidden in your tent will thank you later :)
• Anything not sold has the option of being donated to the Community Gear Closet or of course, you can take it back home with you.

Buyers - just show up!

Gear to bring / gear to expect:
- Camping essentials (tents, sleeping bags, cots, lanterns, tools, backpacking gear, cooking equipment, etc.)
- Hiking gear (daypacks, boots, clothing, hydration packs, etc.)
- Other activity-related gear: Bikes, Paddleboards, etc.

Items to not bring:
- Anything not related to outdoor adventuring please leave at home.
- Large fuel canisters or highly flammable products. Small cans of cooking fuel (e.g., jet boil) is fine.
