As a group the basic rule of edicate is to pace ourselves based on the slowest hiker. Please be prepared to do this. This is not a beginner hike.
We will meet at two locations to carpool, for those coming south and those who live farther north. If you want to meet at the trail head please do so, on your own.

Locations: The South location is the Clifton Park Park and Ride on Fire Road. We will leave promptly just after 8 am. The North location is off Exit 20 at the mobile gas station, take a left off exit 20 and it's on the right (there's a drive thru D&D here too). Please coordinate via text to let me know if you plan on meeting at the exit 20 location or for any other questions at: 518-618-7589 (and preferably not the morning of the hike). Just a warning, if I receive no texts for the exit 20 stop then we will not be stopping.

And If you have any concerns about the group size, please don't let that be an issue. In my experience at least half of the people signed up may not show. Most people either forget to respond no or do the morning of the hike. Secondly, Yes- Dec has a group size limit, however IF we have a group over 15 people (which hasn't happened yet) then most likely we will be car pooling and arriving in separate cars. And IF need be we can then sign in at the trail head as two separate groups. Therefore, those people in each group need to account for their group.
