SeverenceHill hike/Schroon Lake Picnic/Swim C3C

This is not a beginner hike

Severence Hill hike and Schroon Lake Swim on Monday August 25.Meet 7am Northway Exit 9 Fire Rd Park and Ride to carpool. Please plan to carpool if possible as trailhead parking is limited.

Severence Hill is located off exit 28 of the Northway. It is a 1638 foot high mountain and the trail is 1.2 miles one way with 744 feet of elevation game. There are nice views of Schroon Lake and Paradox Lake from the summit. You should be doing regular aerobic exercise in order to participate. Wear appropriate hiking clothing and hiking boots. Bring water/electrolytes ,snacks , your lunch and a food item to share if you like, ,bug spray,sunscreen, swimsuit,and carpool cash. After hiking Severence Hill in the morning we will head down to the Schroon Lake Beach for picnic lunch and an afternoon of swimming.
