Giant Nubble/Washbowl,Roaring Brk Falls Loop Hike/Snowshoe B3B

**Not for beginners**

This is a 5 mile loop hike/snowshoe starting at the RoaringBrook trailhead near Keene Valley.1624’ elevation gain, Nubble summit elevation 2743’ .Excellent views along the way including from the Nubble summit , Roaring Brook Falls, and around Giant Washbowl. Full winter gear required including micro spikes and snowshoes. Bring lunch ,snacks, hydration,/electrolytes. No dogs please. You must be doing regular aerobic exercise and have recent climbing/snowshoeing experience on mountains of similar distance and elevation gain. Meet exit 9 Northway Fire Road park-and-ride at 7 AM to carpool. Brief pitstop at Northway exit 25 Stewarts on the way to the trailhead. We can stop for food in the Schroon Lake/Pottersville area after the hike for those interested .Stormy weather or poor road conditions postpones the outing. Please have identification and emergency contact information on a card in the outer pocket of your pack.
