30 mile bike ride round trip Saranac Lake to Floodwood Road and back

Meet Northway exit 9 park-and-ride on Fire Road at 7AM to carpool.Brief pitstop at the Keene New York Stewart’s on the way to the trail head. Please note there’s also a Stewart’s. next-door to our starting point in Saranac Lake.
This is 30+-miles out and back of the Saranac Lake to Floodwood Road section of the Adirondack Rail Trail. We will start in Saranac Lake on Depot Street near the old train station. Very scenic ride. Trail surface is compacted crushed stone . Road bike,Hybrid or mountain bike all work, hybrid recommended.Late Lunch at the end of the ride in Saranac Lake for those interested. The pace will be leisurely, if you want to race or do a fast workout, this is NOT the ride for you. *Make sure your bike is well maintained, good tires etc*
