Owls Head Lookout is located in the Adirondacks off Route 9N not far from Elizabethtown. 5.2 mile out and back hike, 2530 Summit elevation with 1250 elevation gain. Excellent view from the summit, including Giant Mountain, Rocky Peak Ridge, and Hurricane. Wear appropriate hiking gear for the weather and hiking boots. Bring lunch and adequate hydration/electrolytes.By participating in this event, you agree that you alone are responsible for yourself and are hiking at your own risk.
