Once you get to the gate (Quail Trail trailhead), we go uphill and re-group to catch our breath. Continue hiking on the Quail trail, passing another gate along the way for approx 2 miles until you see the trail divides to West Canyon & Serrano Ridge. Then turn around and go back the way we came. If you get to the turning point early, you can continue on the West Canyon trail for a view & turn around at 6:30 pm. If you don’t get to the turning point in one hour, turn around at 6:30 pm and we’ll all finish by 7:30 pm.
