What we’re about

We are a community of queer (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, asexual) hikers, campers, backpackers and more.

At our events, diversity is not just accepted—it’s passionately embraced. We celebrate the vibrant spectrum of differences that make us unique. Here, every gender identity and expression is honored, cherished, and respected. We support and celebrate people of all races and ethnic backgrounds. This space is a safe haven where you are free to be your true self, surrounded by warmth, understanding, and genuine care.

Being queer puts a different slant on life and laughing helps us through the rough times. Our unique brand of humor distinguishes queer hiking from its all straight counterpart. And yes that means we have more fun, but you already knew that!

Our group centers around day hiking, camping, overnight backpacking, snowshoeing, skiing/snowboarding, peak bagging and dog friendly trips.

Our meetups are focused on building quality friendships in a no-pressure environment. We enjoy each other's company on the trail and recoup with comforting foods after a great trip.

If you are new to playing in the Rocky Mountains, you are in good company. Many of our members recently moved to Colorado and are ready to jump into outdoor experiences!
