Etherow and Werneth Low

An 11 mile trip down memory lane as I did this walk many times when I lived in Stockport. Werneth Low’s 279m at its highest but it’s a fantastic viewpoint over Manchester. The walk has an urban feel to it but rest assured we’ll be doing it at the usual enthusiastic pace 😃
The return takes in the Peak Forest canal detouring to look at the quaint Chadkirk Chapel and passing over Marple Aqua-duct.

Parking charges to be confirmed Toilets at the start, post walk drink at the Andrew Arms.
