Kinder from Edale

A 10 - 11 mile walk.
As yet another big birthday approaches 😟 I thought I’d mark it by heading up Kinder Scout. I see it every day, it’s got history, drama and a bad reputation, so perfect for Hillbillies 😄

The route will be weather dependent but expect boggy sections, rocky terrain and steep bits. Not difficult but not for beginners.

Please note this is a SUNDAY walk but will be the usual pace, distance and height of a regular Saturday walk. Post walk drink in Ramblers Inn.

Meeting point is the main car park in Edale which has toilets, £6.80 for the day. Alternative parking at the train station is £4 for the day but only 20 spaces. See photos for info. Edale is a popular spot so get there early!
