8 miles: Darwen Moor/Tower and RAF crash site/memorial 🤔

For those not off to Bonnie Scotland this is an alternative pleasant (8 miles/1250ft ascent) wander up to the Tower and around the moor with good views after a pause at the 1945 RAF crash site/memorial.
Free parking and cafe/loos at start.
