Where Eagles Sing

For those who know the film, the name of the walk is a spin on the classic film Where Eagles Dare! I must maintain I look nowt like Richard Burton..... A walk from Todmorden to Burnley, taking in Eagle Crag and Singing Ringing Tree. This shall be a linear walk, with us needing to travel back to Todmorden via train or bus. Dependent upon our arrival time in Burnley, and how much time we wish to spend in the local hostelries (real ale fans take note Burnley is home to Moorhouses Brewery!) we will depart Burnley by whichever transport fits in with our timings. From experience the public transport links between Burnley and Todmorden are fairly decent.

Oxford Street Car Park in Todmorden shall be our meeting point - Calderdale council website says this has capacity for 27 cars, it is also a long stay - if you are unable to park here, there are several other long stay car parks in Todmorden, of which details here https://new.calderdale.gov.uk/parking/car-parks-and-street-parking/car-parks?search_api_fulltext=Todmorden
