Tockholes Late Summer Walk

A lovely late summer stroll. Majority of good tracks with lovely views throughout the day.

This is the second time I have led this walk. The first time I was unable to finish as I was looking after a casualty. So it will be nice to finish this time.

Dogs welcome , no animals en-route, just a few stray sheep... Start time 9.50am finish 3.30pm. Car park free (public) with Pub at the side... the car park is accessed through the pub car park...

A nice Straight forward walk with excellent tracks for the majority of the day (you never know it might be wet). Lots of tree cover pre lunch. Lunch at White Coppice Cricket Ground ( under cover option )... a beautiful award winning cricket ground. Then a climb up Great Hill with views of the Fylde coast... back down the other side over the moors then back in a wooded area to our cars (by the pub)... So if you like to chat this is the walk for you as the tracks are very wide most of the day...

10.3 Miles .... steady walking .... steady pace....
