1965 Manhattan: heiress Edie Sedgwick (Siena Miller) gets discovered by artist Andy Warhol (Guy Pearce) and becomes an underground movie star.
George Hickenlooper (best known for his documentaries) directed this 2006 production from a Captain Mauzner-Aaron Richard Golub script. Hayden Christensen plays a musician clearly based on Bob Dylan. The real Dylan and Warhol-associated musician Lou Reed were both unhappy with the movie, but Siena Miller's performance was critically praised.
