Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) elopes with Helen (Diane Kruger), wife of Menelaus (Brendan Gleeson), leading to a ten-year siege of Troy.
Wolfgang Petersen directed this 2004 release from a David Benioff script (based on Homer's Iliad and Quintus Smyrnaeus' Posthomerica). The cast includes Brad Pitt as Achilles, Eric Bana as Hector, Brian Cox as Agamemnon, Sean Bean as Odysseus and Peter O' Toole as King Priam. I'll try to find the three-hour director's cut.
