BSO $15 Symphony Rush Seats – 10 AM Tickets, Walk & Lunch

Event Description
We will get $15 rush tickets to the Friday afternoon concert by the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Symphony Hall.
Rush tickets are released at 10:00 AM on Friday at the Symphony Hall box office and can sell out quickly but they have 100.
Park or ride the green line to Symphony stop.

### Timeline

9:45–9:50 AM
Arrive and gather inside the entrance at Symphony Hall.
10:00 AM
$15 rush ticket sales begin.
Everyone buys their own ticket.
After tickets are secured (about 10:15)
We will split into three optional groups before the concert.

### Activity Choices

1. Walk + Lunch (social pace)
Walk through the shops at the Prudential Center and have lunch at Eataly.
2. Faster City Walk
A longer, faster walk around Back Bay for people who want some exercise before the show.
3. Relax and Chat
Sit and talk at nearby Panera Bread.
1:15 PM
Regroup at Symphony Hall.
1:30 PM
Concert begins.

  • Yunchan Lim, piano
  • Robert Schumann – Piano Concerto in A minor
  • Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – Manfred Symphony

Yunchan Lim, the youngest winner of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, performs Schumann’s lyrical and expressive piano concerto, followed by Tchaikovsky’s dramatic and atmospheric Manfred Symphony.
Relaxed afternoon of beautiful live symphony music, conversation, and exploring the city together.
