Ba Duan Jin Qi-Gong – Refined Practice for Health & Balance

A weekly, guided practice focused on restoring physical balance, improving mobility, and reducing stress through the classical Ba Duan Jin (Eight Brocades) system of Qi-Gong.

Rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, these sessions go beyond simple movement. Each class integrates posture, breath, and attention of one's mind to develop a deeper awareness of how the body functions as an interconnected system.

This is a structured and progressive practice designed for individuals seeking a more refined and intentional approach to health.

What to expect:

~Clear, step-by-step instruction of the 8 Ba Duan Jin movements
~Insight into the health effects of each movement from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective
~Emphasis on alignment, breathing, and internal coordination
~A calm, focused environment that supports consistency and depth of practice

Additional support:
Participants will have access to a private video library via TikTok, allowing you to review the movements and continue your practice at home, at your own pace.

Benefits may include:

~Improved posture, mobility, and circulation
~Enhanced vitality and energy
~Reduced physical tension and mental fatigue
~Greater body awareness and coordination
~A practical method for maintaining long-term health and longevity

Sessions are suitable for all levels, with guidance adapted to both beginners and experienced practitioners.

This is ideal for those looking for a grounded, high-quality approach to movement, rather than fast-paced fitness or surface-level wellness trends.

Learn the philosophy behind each movement, the basics of Yin and Yang and the concept of holistic health through practice with a British Chinese medicine physician.

Simultaneously improve your English skills whilst learning an ancient Chinese medicine exercise with a native British instructor.

Additional Info:
Qi-Gong is an ancient Internal Chinese medicine exercise that is focused on coordinating therapeutic movement (forms) with breathing. The exercise (Qi-Gong) consists of 8 movements or forms that are believed in Chinese medicine to improve physiological (the body) and psychological (the mind) health.
The exercise is focused on stimulating acupuncture points and energetic meridians traversing the body, improving organ function, blood production and circulation, and improved joint health.
