City of Water Day

Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse will be hosting an In Your Neighborhood event for the 2025 City of Water Day. We will begin with a beach and shore cleanup to bring awareness to the dynamics and health of our waterways and to educate how climate change and rising sea levels will drastically affect our shoreline. Please join us to help introduce people to our beach and surrounding Maxwell Place Park shoreline and show some much needed love.

Following this event will be our Embayment Day where you can experience the shoreline from the water in the outrigger canoe, kayaks or SUPs as well as a family-oriented festival on land where we can educate people about climate change and the human connection with the water through the lens of Pacific Island culture through a variety of educational events and craft opportunities.
