MOVED - Cove Patrol & Tow Belt Training - Intermediate

Be on time. Get ready quickly. Let's maximize our time on the water.

Bring a towel and a warm change of clothes! You will get wet.

Prerequisites for all:

• You have attended one of our kayak or paddleboard trainings this year or last year and want to do cove patrol during embayment

We welcome all volunteers, but priority will be given to those who have volunteered two or more shifts in 2025 and have a time trial of 19 minutes or less.
TIMELINE

• 6:15 PM - Meet at HCCB. Prepare equipment
• 6:20 PM - Hard cutoff to arrive. If you do not make it by this time you will not be able to join
• 6:30 PM - Safety briefing, move boats to beach
• 6:45 PM - Practice in the cove
• 8:00 PM - Return to boathouse
• 8:30 PM - Clean and put away equipment
• 9:15 PM - Training ends
