Volunteer Trip: MKC

This is a trip to MKC (the Intrepid). We will have to navigate some complex currents, so this is an intermediate trip.

Prerequisites for all:

• You can prepare all your equipment in 15 minutes with no assistance
• active volunteers who helped us run our public program in 2025 (volunteered > 4 shifts)
• you have been on an intermediate trip before

Timeline
09:00 AM Arrive at the boathouse
09:15 AM Safety briefing hard cutoff to arrive. Whoever does not make it by this time will not be able to join.
09:45 AM Move boats to the beach
10:00 AM Depart from HCCB

10:45 AM Arrive MKC

We’ll have about 1 hour at MKC

11:45 AM back at MKC
12:00 PM launch from MKC

12:45 PM Arrive at HCCB
1:15 PM Put Boats away and clean up
1:30 PM Trip ends
