Volunteers - Help with our special 4th of July Embayment! 2 PM Shift

If you want to kayak/paddle board without volunteering just show up anytime on this date between 9: 00 AM and 2:30 PM!

This meetup is for volunteers to run our public program. This program exists only because of you! We can always use the help.

No experience is necessary to volunteer. We'll show you the ropes on the spot :)

Let us know if you would like to assist with desk/beach/patrol (Desk and patrol requires previous training). The lead will do their best to give you your prefer choice but it'll depend on experience and where help is needed.

We have been chosen by the US Coast Guard to host the only on-water viewing area for human powered vessels on the Jersey side of the Hudson. This is a tremendous honor, and an amazing opportunity to showcase our amazing program to the crowds of folks from all over who will be coming to Hoboken this day.

We will run things a bit differently from our regular embayment to help us safely manage the large numbers of people expected, and we need all the help we can get.

The shifts are only two hours, so you will still have time to also enjoy the celebration!
