Holistic Living, Healing & Human Connection

For those who enjoy playing with words, would like to try a new writing method, or wish to vibe with the theme. Knowledge of literature, ability to write well and a desire to share what you write are optional! 4th Thursday of every month.

This session, we'll look at song lyrics, then use inspiration from those to create a piece of our own writing; feel free to bring your favourite song!

We'll meet at Orchard Valley coffee at 1030, then likely wander down around 1045 to sit under the trees between the library & Campbell Police Dept, my map shows this as 'Orchard City Green Park'.

This style of workshop is based on my experiences with Kay Underdown (UK author), and Poetic Medicine (UCSF).

Adults are welcome to join us as we explore thoughts, questions and feelings related to all topics around end of life. There is no agenda or set theme, it is an open opportunity for respectful conversation and witnessing each other as we each walk our own journey.

We gather as a thoughtful & curious group. Participants are welcome to listen, reflect & share at a level that feels comfortable for them. Monthly - first Wednesday of the month.

Did you ever go to a youth club? I ran them in the UK; a safe welcoming space where young people could go to chill, hang out with friends, meet new people and learn through fun activities if they chose. A place you might go to get some advice, learn stuff or do something healthy, but mainly just to be accepted for who you are. It's not a cafe, or a bar, or a restaurant, so you don't have to dress up, make definite plans or have spare money - you are welcome to show up as you are & just be.

Personally, I think we all need those spaces no matter how old we are. So we're setting gone up. Initially once a month. For ages 18 - 108.

We will actively encourage phones to be turned off / on silent, and to honour the value of human connection In Real Life. Games will be provided, some group activities will be offered, and in the essence of A Healing Place, some creative and meditative activities will also be available.

Feel free to drop in, bring your own refreshments, bring a friend, make new ones, or simply bring a book, ignore everyone & enjoy the vibe.
