Holistic Touch Forum

The Holistic Touch Forum is an opportunity to learn about and to explore and develop your connection with your own internal energy systems and also to develop and explore your human connection with other people.

During this event, we will focus on learning and exercises that open our hearts and help us develop our own innate abilities to heal ourselves and others. All our interactions are safe and respectful, and participation in the exercises is, of course, a personal choice. This event is open to all people who are sincerely interested in connecting with other people who share an interest in Energy Medicine in any and all of its forms.

For this event, we'll focus on human connection and human interaction. You will be guided through exercises that strengthen your connection with your own internal energy systems. We'll explore topics of personality, fulfillment, communication (in Relationships and also in everyday interactions with others). Beyond just talking, we'll activate all our senses to understand how our energy comes into play while we communicate (with or without words). Through visualization exercises, guided meditation, and body-centered exercises, we'll discover a new way to hear beyond words.

The focus of the event is in putting it into practice via a series of exercises--both solitary and partnered. Instruction will be given during the exercises, and everyone will be encouraged to participate in learning by doing...a real "Hands-On" event :-) Come to Learn and also come to share what you know.

During the event, some of the exercises will be solitary (similar to meditation or introspective focusing exercises). Many of the exercises require a partner (Hugging, Energetic Exchange, Energy Meridians, Massage, Eye Contact Exercises, Status Play). None of the exercises involve nudity, but you will be in close proximity to and even (gasp) touching your partner. It's best to wear comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. If you have a "favorite partner", you might want to bring that partner with you. If you are open to finding an exercise partner at the event, that's fine, too.

Before and after the exercises is a chance to mingle and meet the other people who share your interest in Energy and Healing and related Practices.
