April Speight, Sr. Cloud Advocate - Spatial Computing
April Speight is a developer, speaker, and educator who believes that creating for XR should be accessible for all. She leads the Spatial Computing Cloud Advocacy team at Microsoft. In addition, she is also the Director of Community and Education Outreach for the CyberXR Coalition - an organization formed to address the global necessity of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the cybersecurity and XR domain.

Nick Klingensmith, StereoKit Primary Maintainer
Nick Klingensmith specializes in tool development, graphics programming, MR, and OpenXR! With over 100 published games, he's worked on small arcade games, mobile GPU pushing titles, all the way to massively networked social games. The tools he's published on the Unity Asset Store are also used in thousands of games, on just about every modern platform imaginable! Nick works for Microsoft on the Mixed Reality Middleware team and is the author of StereoKit the Mixed Reality Engine, and the Mixed Reality Lighting Tools.
Kate Dina, Recruiter
Kate currently supports recruiting for the Mixed Reality business at Microsoft, bringing 6+ years of technology talent acquisition experience in various industries, and a master's degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University. She is passionate about building relationships with both technology leaders inside the organization and industry candidates. Outside of work, from her home office in the Washington DC area, she enjoys exploring the nearby hiking trails, teaching Pilates and trying out new restaurants.
Tamara Romney, Recruiter
Tamara Romney began her career in technical space 35 years ago. Growing up in the Silicon Valley, she spent weekends at Fry’s electronics with her dad learning to build motherboards and CPU’s. After graduating from UCSC she joined Apple Computer working withing the ATG/Newton and QT teams. Tamara left Apple to join Claira – a VC handpicked retained recruiting firm working exclusively for Valley start-ups. From these experiences, she launched her own retained boutique search firm working exclusively with stealth startups. Tamara joined Google in 2001 and watched the tech giant grow during the pre-IPO years. In 2005 she moved to Bellingham WA and became a stay-at-home Mom. 7 years ago, Tamara relaunched her technical recruiting career in the Seatle Area supporting Amazon and Microsoft.
