About us
P.S. The Dinner Club has now been adapted to something more intimate and personal: homecooked stories by Trang.
homecooked stories by Trang is a Vietnamese homecooking supper hosted every last Thursday evening and Sunday lunch of the month in Pankow, Berlin - following the traditional Northern Vietnamese family meal tradition: một mặn · một canh · một rau
(one savory/protein dish · one soup · one vegetable)
This is my way of showing love, staying close to my family memories, expressing the personal stories I don’t always know how to put into words, and extending the “home feeling” I crave to others in Berlin.
I was born into a Northern Vietnamese family that immigrated South, with relatives and friends from all parts of the country. My homecooking reflects all of these lived experiences.
People often ask me where the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Berlin is. Is there such a thing? I never know how to answer, because I grew up seeing how food changes with the people, the places, and the circumstances around it.

Sunday Tea Time & Painting
Prenzlauer Berg, Sonnenburger Str., near Schoenhauser Allee, Berlin, DEFor most of my life, I thought I wasn't artistic or creative enough to ever paint.
Earlier this year, during one of Berlin’s long grey winters, I suddenly felt an almost irrational urge to buy oil paint tubes and brushes. Three months later, I somehow ended up making more than 40 paintings.
You can see some of them here:
@storiespaintedbytrangI now want to open my home for a slow Sunday afternoon of tea, painting, and conversations around objects, materials, craftsmanship, and creativity — especially for anyone who has also quietly wanted to make things without necessarily calling themselves “an artist.”
No painting experience needed — this is not a formal workshop, but more of a relaxed creative gathering. You’re welcome to paint, sketch, observe, chat, or simply spend a quiet Sunday afternoon with us.

A Meal in Spring: What I Brought Back from Vietnam

As spring is finally here, I’m opening my home for a shared, homecooked Vietnamese lunch for anyone in Berlin craving a low-key gathering.
