Free- Green Wall Garden Workshop

Every square foot counts here in San Diego! As the saying goes if you can’t grow out, grow up! A green wall is considered either a free-standing structure or can be tied into an existing structure. The green wall concept goes all the way back to 600 BC and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. In this class we’ll explore the types of plants and soil structures need for green wall and assist in the building of a pallet garden and other wall structures.
This class is being held inside the Del Mar Fairgrounds, if you made it to our pruning class, it's the same location! If you didn't, we'll meet on Via De La Valle, West of Jimmy Durante, on the street, starting at Pamplemousse Grill by 12:45. WE WILL CARAVAN TO THE LOCATION FROM THERE. Wear comfortable clothing which are OK to get dirty. Bring gloves, wear sturdy shoes, and bring plenty of water.
