In 1990, the Central Market building was graded as a Grade III historic building by the Antiquities Advisory Board.
After multiple rounds of study and consultation, the revitalization project for the Central Market building began in October 2017. Upon completion, a portion of the market stalls will be preserved.
the Central Market's historical significance makes it an attractive venue for hosting various types of events that can celebrate Hong Kong's rich heritage and cultural identity. Please grab a dink and enjoy!
