Updates (25Oct ) GRANDEUR of The Thousand Islands in Sai Kung has drawn us there this time, easy hike followed by Kayak or swimming in Sai Kung. We can either rest at the store of Muk Yue Tau Water Sports Center in Tsam Chuk Wan, or proceed to kayak & swimming.
We just need to climb to 317m, enjoying bird view of “The Thousand Islands in Sai Kung” such as Kau Sai Chau, Tai Tau Chau, Sharp Island and tourist spot Yim Tin Tsai. However, as we have to reach the center by 2:30pm, our Hosts have liberty to cut the hike short to one hour.
Most trials are paved but some are steep and full of crushed stones. Please wear professional sports attire, hiking shoes with good grip plus use hiking poles in case.
Kayak & Swim
After we descend to Tsam Chuk Wan (estimated time: 3pm), we will walk about 10 minutes to a water sports center in Muk Yue Tau. Shop for basic refreshments (food, instant noodles, water) & pay for renting Kayak* before landing in a small island for sunbathing/swimming. Please pay CASH to the store owner by yourself.

There are toilets for cloth-changing & bathing. You can also guard our backpacks if you just want to rest at the store. Optional for dinner & 🍺 🥤together when back to Sai Kung town.

* Kayak Prices on Sat, Sun, public holidays :
Single Kayak: $150
Double-seat Kayak: $250
$50 Extra charge be imposed if not returning the kayak at 4:30pm
