Street photography has the unique ability to capture fleeting moments and turning the mundane into the extraordinary (have a look at the collection of photos in this context added to this event’s album below).
A good photographer can transform everyday life into an aesthetic, poetic photography genre, filled with vibrant colors, rich compositions, and evocative emotions; offering viewers a deep connection to the essence of urban life we live in.
In this outing we would meet and attempt to capture everyday life moments into interesting images and visual narratives that transform fleeting, ordinary moments into compelling stories brimming with emotion, humor, and humanity.
Meeting Time and Place:
3.30pm at the Wan Chai MTR Station, Exit A3 (street level, Johnston Road).
We would meet 3.30pm at the Wan Chai MTR Station Exit A3 (street level, Johnston Road), then walk around Wan Chai neighbourhood taking pictures and re-group 5pm at Eric Kayser Cafe, 248 Queen’s Rd E, Wan Chai (opposite Hopewell Centre) for photo sharing/discussion over a drink.
IMPORTANT:
Please sign up only if you are coming, those not showing up 2x in a row would be taken off the group list while active members would be given a preference over long inactive members, the last minute habitual dropouts and no-shows.
FINALLY: For every image you post, please comment on at least one other image, no matter if you think you are qualified to comment or not. You can always give some constructive comments with regard to Colour, Tone, Light, Action, Pattern, Balance, Composition, Visual and Emotional appeal of the image/s.
