Horsham Socials

A social group aimed at those who are in and around the Horsham area, who want to meet new people, make friends, and socialise. Visitors from outside the area are, of course, welcome!

After being on hiatus for a while, the group has been picked up by a new organiser and will be lining up some local socials for those who would like to come along.

Q&A
What types of events?
Likely to be evening pub-based socials in Horsham and Crawley, to start, and probably mainly at the weekend. This could then extend to afternoons, live music nights, picnics, cinema, day events, and walks, if there's scope for it.

Who can join?
You! You can!

Who can come along?
You! You can! Anyone who, as mentioned above, is looking to meet new people, make friends, and socialise.

Age range?
There isn't a specific age range, though if we were to target a general vibe, let's say mid 20s to late 40s, with space on either side of that. We are all at different stages of life and are all here to meet new people, make friends and socialise. Thats the goal of the group, so if that's your goal too, then great, you're in the right place!

Any rules about how to behave?
Yes. Be nice to each other. Let's make this a decent and openminded space for people to enjoy spending time together.

Is there a cost to attend?
Nope. But also, see further below.

What isn't cool?
Don't message other people from the group, other than the organiser of an event, if you haven't met them in-person at an event first. Come along to events to meet people! No trying to get around this by sharing of socials in the event chats, either, and no requests to be DM'd. Removals will be deployed, to those that abuse this rule.

What if I'm not looking to meet new people, make friends, and socialise?
Wait... what?

Will there be a cost to attend if we go somewhere with a cover charge or entrance fee?
Okay, sure, there will be charge in that sort of situation, but it will be made by the venue, to you, when you buy the ticket. Each attendee individually sorts out their own entrance fee / ticket / pass etc, it won't be done through the group.
