Beyond Legacy: Death Saloon

Death Saloon is a welcoming space for real conversation in a comfortable setting. We gather to talk openly about death, dying, grief, and legacy with curiosity, compassion, and respect. We ask all guests to honor one another’s stories, listen without judgment, and help create a supportive atmosphere.
Alcohol will be available for purchase since we’ll be meeting at a brewery. If you choose to consume alcohol, we encourage everyone to drink responsibly and help maintain a respectful, grounded space for conversation. We also encourage guests to plan ahead for a safe ride home if needed, whether that means a designated driver, rideshare, or arranging transportation in advance.

Shane Cowles is a disabled combat veteran who brings a grounded, service-driven perspective to end-of-life work and community dialogue. He serves as a host for Beyond Legacy: Death Saloon and as a member of the Beyond Legacy board, where he helps foster open, respectful conversations about death, dying, and legacy.
