Photowalk: George Ranch Park's Texian Market Days Event

George Ranch Park has been on of our favorite places to visit here at HoustonPhotowalks. The beautiful buildings, landscape, and interesting people always make it a fun visit.

On October 22, 2022, The George Ranch Historical Park will be conducting their Texian Market Days event. Cowboys, History, Cannons, and Fun is the headline this year! There will be people dressed in period costumes, vehicles and of course, historical buildings.

The Fort Bend History Association is proud to present the 38th annual Texian Market Days festival, held at the George Ranch Historical Park. Bring the whole family to discover more than 150 years of Texas history! Enjoy hands-on activities, battle re-enactments, live entertainment, first-person costumed interpreters, historic home tours, games, cowboys, vintage vehicles, food, craft vendors and more. Texian Market Days is our biggest living history event of the year — you don’t want to miss it!

PLEASE NOTE: They will allow HoustonPhotowalks members to attend and take personal pictures. They politely request we bring no lighting kits (light stands, strobes, etc), and that we only bring what we can carry (no tripods, rolling camera gear, etc). If you would like to do a modeling or portrait event here, they request you arrange to pay their commercial photography fees on a different day.
