Photowalk: Guardian Angel Catholic Church

Guardian Angel Catholic Church is a historic Roman Catholic church, and one of the "painted churches" in Texas.

We've been granted access to photograph both the interior and exterior of the church. We;'ll begin by photographing the interior, and then move outside. This will be a guided tour, so we will need to follow their instructions.

Please remember this is a church, and there may be parishioners there worshiping.

ABOUT THE EVENT FEE: We will be donating much of the fee as a thank you to Guardian Angel Catholic Church for their time and courtesy to allowing us to do this photowalk. The balance covers both Houston Meetup's costs along with mine.

EQUIPMENT RESTRICTIONS: Please - NO tripods or monopods. However......if you own a Platypod, you can bring/use it.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SIGNING UP: By signing up for this event, you to agree to the following: Each individual Houston Photwalks participant shall at their own risk have permission to enter upon and use those parts of the Property discussed and expressly agreed between Houston Photwalks, namely: for the sole purpose of photographing Guardian Angel Catholic Church for purely non-commercial purposes and as an educational endeavor.

The proposed facilities/arrangements for photography on the Property are set out in this agreement. No photography beyond what appears in this document shall take place without the prior agreement of the Owner or his/her representative.

The terms and conditions of this agreement shall remain in full force and effect during any further period the Owner may permit for the completion of the photography.

Each individual Houston Photwalks participant agrees to make good forthwith to the satisfaction of the Owner or pay the reasonable cost of making good any damage or loss to the Property arising out of the facilities granted to each individual Houston Photwalks participant provided that any claim for loss or damage is made to each individual Houston Photwalks participant . It is the further obligation of the producer to surrender the property in its as found condition.

Each individual Houston Photwalk participant will indemnify and keep indemnified the Owner against all actions, proceedings, costs, claims and demands which may be brought or made against the Owner in respect to personal injury and/or damage to property arising directly or indirectly out of the activities in connection with the photography and indemnifies Owner from any claims arising out of unauthorized use of personal images.
