Dinner Before Yorktown: 5D Steakhouse & Lounge

Enjoy a great meal with friends before we head out for a night of eerie photography at Yorktown Memorial Hospital. We’ll meet up at 5D Steakhouse in Yorktown for dinner, photography talk, and a little bit of fun before the lights go out.

This isn’t just any dinner—it’s a chance to fuel up, hang out, go to the bathroom, and talk photography with fellow shooters before we dive into a night of low-light and flashlight photos at the abandoned Yorktown Memorial Hospital. Whether you’ve got questions about what to expect or just want to enjoy a good steak with good company, this pre-photowalk meal is a great way to kick things off.

• 5D Steakhouse is a family-owned spot and local favorite known for fresh-cut steaks, friendly service, and a rustic Texas atmosphere.
• The restaurant is massive—20,000 square feet!—with two 6-foot crystal chandeliers and a 40-foot fireplace. You’ll know you’re in the right place.
• We’ve met here before and the food, service, and experience have always been excellent. It’s the perfect meetup spot before heading into the dark!

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

We’ll meet for dinner at 5D Steakhouse in Yorktown, TX at 6:30pm on October 2. You’ll have time to eat, chat with other members, ask questions about the overnight shoot, and just relax before things get spooky. We’ll leave around 7:45pm to drive over to the hospital.
