Photowalk: 19th Street in The Heights

19th Street in Houston near Yale Street is still a very active area for “people, places and things” photography. aka Street photography. Fortunately, many of the stores are still open.

This photowalk starts an hour before sunset (5:22 pm), so it is a great opportunity to practice low-light photography skills. Dusk ia at 5:48p,

THE ROUTE

We will start at Torches Tacos and head across the street to photograph the shops, work on your street photography techniques. There is also 19th Street’s Back Alleyway. The back of historical buildings always presents interesting and unusual textures and grit.

PARKING

Park in the parking lot next to Vinyl Edge Records and meet us at Torches Tacos.
