We've had several requests to do another class on flash photography. This class will cover the basics of using your flash - both on camera, and off camera. The emphasis will be an emphasis on understanding and using off-camera flash.

The first part of the class will the stuff you just have to know - all of the "techie stuff". We'll help take the mystery out of using a flash (those of us of.a "certain age" know them as 'speedlight'), and achieving pleasing light with your flash.

The second half will be demonstration of on and off camera flash techniques - including flash triggers, various light modifiers, including a Vflat.

The class is limited to 20 people due the size of the room.

We've done several classes at Bluestone Lane over the years. Bluestone Lane's Aussie-inspired cafe' fare has been a big hit with those that attended. Bluestone Lane doesn't charge us for the use of the room. 😉😉. i.e. please purchase something to eat and drink there before the class.

IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP - please arrive early (8:45am) to order breakfast/brunch and head upstairs. We'll start promptly at 9am.

WHAT TO BRING
Feel free to bring your camera and flash, a notebook or laptop to take notes. I'll provide a printed copy of the presentation I'll be giving that you can use for notes.
