Join HoustonPhotowalks on Friday, October 16 for a return visit to the Houston Fire Museum! We visited before its renovations, and now we’re heading back to photograph the restored building and explore Houston’s firefighting history. Read more about the museum on their website: https://www.houstonfiremuseum.org

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Housed in historic Fire Station No. 7, built in 1899, the museum offers opportunities to photograph architectural details and historic firefighting equipment.
Museum staff will welcome us with an introduction, then we’ll explore and photograph at our own pace. Exhibits are currently limited to highlight the restored building, so the architecture itself will be part of our photography focus.

All skill levels and camera types are welcome. Come explore what has changed since our last visit and enjoy a morning of photography with the group!
