Everyone is Welcome at the Traditional Trance Posture Journey event on July 25, 2026. We will meet indoors at 2115 Turner Drive, Houston, Texas, (on the corner of Aldine Westfield Drive and Turner Drive), beginning at 6 PM.

You may come inside, enjoy tea, conversation or drumming prior to ceremony. Ceremony begins promptly at 6:30 PM and the doors are locked. No latecomers will be allowed inside once ceremony has begun at 6:40 PM.

The community gathering ends around 8:30 to 9 PM (extended time).
Please try to arrive well before 6:30 in order to settle in and prepare for the night's events.

Tonight's theme for the traditional journey ceremony is "Awaken The Shaman Within" and will be led by longtime practitioner and Lineage Carrier for Houston Shamanism, Kimberly "Owl.". If it's been a while since you've attended a traditional shamanism circle, or if it's your first time to journey in trance, we hope you will attend and discover what Houston Shamanism is all about. We will be awakening our "inner shaman," through ancient trance posture journeys and communication with our ancestors and other spiritual allies.
