EXPECTATIONS and GUIDELINES--All Attending Must Read
We welcome people from all peace-loving, spiritual paths to our group. We are not a religious organization. We request that everyone attending refrain from religious or political discussions during our healing circles. Let's leave division behind and create a safe, healing space for each other.

HOUSTON LOCATION TO BE ANNOUNCED EACH MONTH
We will not meet outdoors in the event of inclement weather and the event will be rescheduled.

*Please note, this healing circle is a closed event and non-registered persons may not join the circle in progress. Everyone attending requires an RSVP.

HEALING CIRCLE GUIDELINES and Code of Conduct-- Please Read

* Give a healing, or get a healing. Bring your energy healing modality (see above approved healing modalities) to HOUSTON SHAMANISM's monthly outdoor energy healing circle.

* This will be a moderated healing circle and completely hands off.

* Energy healings are conducted in an open circle, in full view of everyone. No private sessions are allowed outside of the main circle. Anyone who leaves circle to give a spiritual reading or healing will be asked to leave.

* Energy healing sessions will begin and end at Facilitator's direction.

* Adults over 18 only. No children are permitted at this event.

* No use of smudges, smoke, or sound instruments as this may distract others.

* Everyone attending MUST sign the liability waiver on the clipboard. No signature= no participation.

* Practitioners and recipients alike will be paired one on one and are NOT allowed physical contact (not shoulders, head, knees or feet) at any time during the healing session. No physical touch must ever take place. It is suggested that the "healer" maintain a suitable physical boundary from the sitter so as not to touch or disturb them during the energy healing.

* money or tips are allowed on site and will not be collected on site. (If you so choose to make an offering for this event to help your host provide more events, please do so via PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App. This is NOT a requirement for participation, however.)

* There will be at least two, 5 - 10 minute healing rounds at this first event with an orderly circle discussion after each session

* Because this event is held outdoors, dress accordingly and prepare for weather changes. It is suggested you bring a folding chair or blanket as seating amenities are limited and seating may not be provided by your host.

* Please bring your own drink and a snack and prepare for any seasonable changes. Refreshments will not be provided. A blanket, light jacket, hat, and water bottle or closed container drink are great to have on hand. You may also bring your bike so that you may enjoy the open space's amenities following.

* We kindly request that you do not bring any glass bottles or glass containers of any kind as they are prohibited in the space.

* We are an always an alcohol-free, and substance-free event. Please do not attend if you are under the influence.

* Do not attend if you are ill.

* We are not a networking, dating, sales, religious, business, etc. group.

* Harassment of any group member (on site or off site), repeated disruptions during ceremonies, or willful disregard of Houston Shamanism's safety rules or local laws while with the HOUSTON SHAMANISM community will result in immediate suspension.
