*Use of rattles, drums, smudges, blessing waters, incenses, scents, singing, are not permitted as they cause distractions or allergic reactions in some. Your Circle Facilitator will use smudges, blessing waters, music, or mantras as required.

EXPECTATIONS and GUIDELINES--All Attending Must Read
We welcome people from all peace-loving, spiritual paths to our group. We request everyone attending refrain from religious or political discussions during our healing circles. Let's leave division behind and create a safe, healing space for each other.

We will not meet outdoors in the event of inclement weather and the event will be rescheduled. If you are subscribed to receive notifications on Meetup, you will receive prompt notifications regarding cancellations or reschedules.

HEALING CIRCLE GUIDELINES and Code of Conduct-- Please Read

* Give a healing, or get a healing. Bring your energy healing modality (review the approved healing modalities) to HOUSTON SHAMANISM's monthly outdoor energy healing circle.

* This will be a moderated healing circle and completely hands off.

* Energy healings are conducted in an open circle, in full view of everyone. No private sessions are allowed outside of the main circle.

* Energy healing sessions will begin and end at Facilitator's direction.

* Adults over 18 only. Please do not bring children to this event.

* No use of smudges, smoke, or sound instruments as this may distract other healers or participants.

* Everyone attending MUST sign the Liability Waiver on the clipboard.

* Practitioners and recipients alike will be paired one on one and are NOT allowed physical contact (not shoulders, head, knees or feet) at any time during the healing session.

* There will be at least two, 5 - 7 minute healing rounds at this first event with an orderly circle discussion after each session.

* Because this event is held outdoors, dress accordingly and prepare for weather changes. It is suggested you bring a folding chair or blanket as seating amenities are limited and seating may not be provided by your host.

* Please bring your own drink and a snack. Refreshments will not be provided. A blanket, light jacket, hat, and water bottle or closed container drink are great to have on hand. You may also bring your bike so that you may enjoy the open space's hike and bike trails amenities following the healing circle.

* We kindly request that you do not bring glass bottles or glass containers of any kind as they are prohibited in the space.

* We are an always an alcohol-free, and substance-free event.

* Do not attend if you are ill.

* We are not a networking, dating, sales, religious, business, or entertainment etc. group.

* Harassment of any group member (on site or off site), repeated disruptions during ceremonies, or willful disregard of Houston Shamanism's safety rules or local and state laws while with the HOUSTON SHAMANISM community may result in immediate suspension.
