SPECIAL EVENT: Path To Practitioner Shamanic Training & Certification
Details
Houston Shamanism and Sacred Circle Shamanism & Metaphysical groups are earth-based spirituality "ministries" currently operating independent of any church or religious organization. We believe that spirituality does not spring from religion, but is a practice, a way of life and way of being. We welcome all peace loving people in our healing circle.

ABOUT THE LECTURE and WORKSHOP
There is more to shamanism than simply knowing its history and its origins in Animism. There is more to the practice of shamanism than pretty trinkets strewn across an altar cloth; more to the practice of shamanism than recited prayers, sage cleansing, drumming and rattling.
Anyone can learn all of this, either in books, online, or by attending ceremonies.
However, until you understand the great spiritual and ethical responsibility that comes with this practice, and until you know how to safely open and close space, or understand the ethics involved, and realize that this is not entertainment or a frivolous pursuit, but an endeavor that can carry great risk (yes, risk!) and you are willing to accept this responsibility and vow to practice safely and ethically, than you are simply dabbling and should not be doing such.
Do not dabble, simply because you have a basic understanding of the mechanics. Learn. Know. Believe. Then, responsibly, practice shamanism.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS: We are not a dating, advertising, sales, entertainment or promotional group and we ask that our members refrain from "networking" for this purpose during our meetings.
We are always an alcohol-free and drug-free event.
