Hello dear Friend of Hovea Ashram.

It is a talk by Nick Cook from the WA Tree Canopy Advocates (WATCA).

WATCA is an umbrella group formed to nurture, support for the now 25 similar groups, TCA's groups in LGA's across Perth and regions.

WATCA is advocating for the government to set a 30% canopy target by 2040 and for the regulation of significant trees.

Nick Cook is a co-founder of WATCA and the current Chairperson and much more... In 2021, Nick was added to the Conservation Council of WA Honours list for his leadership at Lake Claremont.
