CLASS: Improv Principles (Level 1)
Hackensack Recreation Department, 116 Holt St, Hackensack, NJ, USImprov Principles is a six-week course focusing on the fundamentals of improv. From quick-thinking word games to interactive paired and group activities, you'll stretch your creative muscles while laughing as you bond with classmates.

Free improv comedy show

Any and every improv technique can be used to maximize the fun. Buckle up, it's going to be a wild ride. Admission is free, so come support our students with your laughter and applause.

116 Holt St, Hackensack, NJParking is available on-site at the Recreation Center. When you enter the building, you do not need to check-in at the front desk. Walk through the doors and follow the hallway around past the basketball courts. You'll find the multi-purpose room on the left, past the restrooms.

CLASS: Piñata (Long-form improv)
Hackensack Recreation Department, 116 Holt St, Hackensack, NJ, USIn this 8-week class, you’ll learn and play the Piñata. The form begins with a single mono-scene, leads to character exploration and expansion, and ends with an explosion of fun scenes. (Prerequisite: Improv Principles or similar experience).
