This meetup will feature Pat Viafore's upcoming PyCon Talk: Extensible Python: Robustness Through Addition. This talk will cover how to think in terms of extensible code, dealing with dependencies, building composable systems, event driven architectures and pluggable code.

Travis Risner will then give a talk on how the yield statement allows us to abstract away all the boilerplate for reading and writing text files. First, we will look at how to use the CleanIO module. Then we will look at the guts of the two classes and see how they work.

Pat Viafore is a Principal Software Engineer at Cloud Software Group and the author of Robust Python. Travis Risner is a a retired software developer with an ongoing interest in Python.

There are multiple food options near the library (Publix, Bruegger's, Sam and Gregg's, Golden China, PITA, etc.).

And as always, if you would like to give a talk at a different date, we welcome speakers of all levels.
